The programme was based on addressing the safety issues faced by employees in their daily production activities, with "listening teams" made up of the relevant production service departments and "sharing teams" made up of frontline employees. The workshop provided a face-to-face platform for genuine communication, enabling the Listening Teams to listen to the voices of frontline staff and address their aspirations, effectively resolving the pressing issues they encounter in their daily work.
During the workshop, the Director of the Production Centre expressed his gratitude to the participating departments, including the Safety Supervision Department, the Human Resources Department, the Administration Department, the Purchasing Department, the Quality Inspection Department and the Warehousing Department. He also appreciated the sincere speeches of the frontline staff in the "sharing team". The Listening Team takes careful note of and deploys suggestions on safety, cost, quality and logistical support in a timely manner. The commitment to ensure that every issue is properly addressed and responded to will enhance employees' sense of security and well-being!
The ultimate goal of the "Zero Distance" safety workshops is to identify and solve problems from the employee's perspective, to standardise safe behaviours, and to establish a sustainable mechanism for a safe working environment that will lead to long-term safety. Only then can we truly realise the significance of the "Zero Distance" seminars during Safety Month.
